Yet another badge of shame ... مقتل مليون عراقي منذ الغزو

.
"OK, it's finally out in your mainstream media.

Agence France Press (AFP) finally wrote a piece on the 1 million Iraqis massacred since 2003. Add to that the 1.5 million during 13 years of sanctions and add to that an unknown number of missing persons and add to that 4.5 million in exile or displaced and add to that all those who were tortured, raped, maimed, and crippled by your liberation.

Bravo Americans, you won the jackpot. You won over 2.5 million Iraqi corpses. And you may share the 4.5 million in exile or displaced as as bonus. As for the missing persons and the maimed - well that is your joker for your next game.

Next time anyone tells me that Americans are a kind, honest, peace loving people, I will spit and vomit these figures in his or her face.

You are nothing but a bunch of Nazis and your collaborators the Iranians are nothing but a bunch of Fascists. ALL OF YOU.

No, I take that back. You invaded and occupied under the name of Democracy and Freedom, so that makes you nothing but a collective bunch of maniacal psychopaths, a group of revolting sick perverts, a disgusting affront to anything called human, an insult to the world.

Yes-ALL OF YOU".
Good news Americans, you won the Jackpot, Layla Anwar, January 31, 2008

MUCH OF THE MIDDLE EAST IS INTERNET FREE: For most of this week there has been virtually no Internet connectivity to much of the Middle East. This has caused many problems to merchants and to areas of education… needless to say, the Blogesphere…
Why do I suspect something ‘fishy’…. Israel has not been affected at all.

Defending Israel to the 'End Times': These are busy days for Christian Zionists. While President Bush recently returned from his trip to the Middle East "optimistic" that a peace agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians could be reached by the end of the year, Pastor John Hagee's Christian United for Israel (CUFI) is setting forth plans to put the kibosh -- if not on the entire peace process -- on any agreement that would sanction the division of Jerusalem. And Dr. Mike Evans has launched a "Save Jerusalem Campaign,” while Joel C. Rosenberg's Joshua Fund is planning a major celebration in Jerusalem in honor of Israel's 60th anniversary.

Rosenberg's Joshua Fund is organizing a conference slated for April 10 in Jerusalem to celebrate Israel's 60th anniversary. According to Rosenberg, the purpose of the conference is "to educate people as to the serious threats facing the Jewish State and their neighbors, mobilize Christians around the world to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and provide humanitarian relief to the poor and needy and those suffering from war and terrorism."

'Tear down that wall!' The world court and Israel: In its non-binding advisory ruling, the court states that “Israel is under an obligation to terminate its breaches of international law; it is under an obligation to cease forthwith the works of construction of the wall being built in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, to dismantle forthwith the structure therein situated". The ruling was coupled with a recommendation to the United Nations (including the Security Council) to “consider what further action is required to bring to an end the illegal situation resulting from the construction of the wall”.

Israel’s Wall and the World Court
■ By a 14-1 majority, the ICJ held that the Wall and its associated regime of checkpoints and closed military zones are contrary to international law, and that Israel is under an obligation to terminate its breaches of international law and to cease construction of the Wall. Israel is obliged to dismantle those sections already constructed in occupied Palestinian territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, and to repeal or render ineffective all legislative and regulatory acts relating to the Wall's construction.

World Court Rules Wall Illegal: THE HAGUE, 10 July 2004 — The International Court of Justice ruled yesterday the wall Israel is building to seal off the West Bank violates international law, and urged the United Nations to take action to halt its construction.

The court dismissed Israel’s arguments that the wall was essential for its security, and said the infringement on Palestinians’ ability to move freely was unjustified by arguments of military necessity.

The ruling was a rebuff not only to Israel but also to the United States and several European nations which had argued that the issue should not be before the court.

“Israel is under an obligation to terminate its breaches of international law; it is under an obligation to cease forthwith the works of construction of the wall being built in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, to dismantle forthwith the structure therein situated,” said the ruling, read by court president Shi Jiuyong of China.

The court also ordered Israel to pay reparations to Palestinians harmed by the barrier and return land seized to construct it.

“The court is of the view that the United Nations, and especially the General Assembly and the Security Council, should consider what further action is required to bring to an end the illegal situation resulting from the construction of the wall,” the judgment said.

The judges were unexpectedly united in backing the decisions, by a vote of 14-1 for most paragraphs of the decision, with only the American judge dissenting.

The court also said all countries “are under an obligation not to recognize the illegal situation resulting from the construction of the wall and not to render aid or assistance in maintaining the situation created by such construction.”

From the above three, it is patently clear, even to Israel, that in 2004 the World Court ruled FOR the Palestinians and AGAINST Israel's occupation of Palestinian Territories. Israel has NO legal case, and certainly even LESS moral case. Israel must GET OUT.

P.S.
And that INCLUDES East Jerusalem.

Video (57 min), Spin: Using the 1992 presidential election as his springboard, documentary filmmaker Brian Springer captures the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of politicians and newscasters in the early 1990s. Pat Robertson banters about "homos," Al Gore learns how to avoid abortion questions, George Bush talks to Larry King about halcyon -- all presuming they're off camera. Composed of 100% unauthorized satellite footage, Spin is a surreal expose of media-constructed reality.

Middle East Internet Blackouts Spur Geopolitical Suspicions: Unprecedented mass Internet outages throughout the Middle East and Asia after no less than four undersea Internet cables were cut without explanation are spurring suspicions that a major event of geopolitical proportions may be just around the corner.

"The biggest problem the Bush administration faced during Iraq were images coming over the internet that showed the horrors being visited on the Iraqi people, and exposed the government's lies about Saddam," [according to Mike Rivero].

"I am greatly concerned that these undersea cable cuttings are intended to prevent the world from seeing something that is about to happen, other than through the government-controlled propaganda/media."

British Soldiers ‘Tortured and Killed’ 22 Iraqis

Mr. Khaduri,
As an American citizen I hang my head in shame over the most hienous crimes my (adopted) country has perpetrated over Iraqi People, with whom I declare my absolute solidarity in their struggle for liberation.

The numbers are sickening! But how do we (Americans) who have been appalled by the despicable "war" (read :gw's economic plan for fattening the wallets of his cronies) change anything? How do we maintain human dignity in the face of this atrocity. I understand your remarks and sentiment in Yet another badge of shame, but in another way, it's just the reverse of the Americans who blame all of Islam for 12 maniacs attacking us. Am I the system if I am powerless to change it? Is every Muslim a terrorist because they can't stop the infinitesimal number who are? Not in my book. Is every American a mass murderer because a handful of ego-maniacal morons have caused these millions of deaths and displacement? I believe not, but how do we respond to such clear violations of human decency?

AS RIGHT BEFORE 9/11, PATSY NATION'S INTERNET CUT OFF

4 cuts in data cables collective punishment = a War Crime? We have had FOUR underground data cables cut (two on Wednesday and two on Friday) which carry internet, telephone and data traffic. Whereas one cut a year in the whole world is not unusual (other than after a major earthquake), now we have 4 in the same region within 2 days. "Internet Traffic Report" shows Iran completely isolated from the rest of the world, and Egypt heavily affected, whilst Israel remains unaffected.

The two countries most affected are Egypt (who didn't shoot the Palestinians escaping from their Gaza prison) and Iran which is in the Neo-cons' cross-hairs.

The Worst Addiction of Them All: I now wish to call attention to another form of addiction, which has not been previously identified. It is more like gambling than drinking, since the people afflicted are ravenous for situations that will cause their bodies to release exciting chemicals into their bloodstreams. I am persuaded that there are among us people who are tragically hooked on preparations for war.

Tell people with that disease that war is coming and we have to get ready for it, and for a few minutes there, they will be as happy as a drunk with his martini breakfast or a compulsive gambler with his paycheck bet on the Super Bowl.

Let us recognize how sick such people are. From now on, when a national leader, or even just a neighbor, starts talking about some new weapons system which is going to cost us a mere $29 billion, we should speak up. We should say something on the order of, "Honest to God, I couldn't be sorrier for you if I'd seen you wash down a fistful of black beauties with a pint of Southern Comfort."

I mean it. I am not joking. Compulsive preparers for World War III, in this country or any other, are as tragically and, yes, as repulsively addicted as any stockbroker passed out with his head In a toilet in the Port Authority bus terminal.

... Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols would never be called "Christian terrorists" even though they were in close contact with the Christian Identity Movement. No one would speak of Christofascism or Judeofascism as the Republican candidates speak of Islamofascism. Muslims point out that persons of Christian heritage invented fascism, not Muslims, and deny that Muslim movements have any link to the mass politics of the 1930s in Europe.

Cutting Cables, Lighting Fuses: The news of the multiple acts of cable sabotage are clear proof that a hostile force is doing its best to isolate the greater Middle East region (all the way to India) from the rest of the world. With the Internet down, it will be impossible for anyone to transmit video evidence out of the visually-embargoed zone, except for those who have satellite uplinks, like the major news networks, who are already under Zionist control. The depth of these cables means that they can only be reached by submarine or deep submersibles, means that it could not have been done by al Qaida the “toilet,” which doesn’t have a navy, or a submarine. The cable cutting had to have been the work of state terrorists. ...

FLAG has arranged part of the Restoration capacity via terrestrial route between the landing stations in Al Khobar and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. This was executed with excellent cooperation by Integrated Telecom Company which is the Landing Party of FALCON system in Saudi Arabia.

− Some of the circuits of Qatar Telecom (Q-Tel), Ministry of Communications Kuwait and Du, UAE that were severely affected have been restored.

Since Israel still has Internet, wouldn't the editors of the major newspapers there normally do their best to get such a news scoop? Neither the Jerusalem Post nor Haaretz has anything at all to say about the sabotaged cables on their sites. A search for undersea cables on both sites reveals nothing. Something very bad is in the air. Normally the Israeli press is the favored medium for taunting the Arabs’ misfortune. Both papers, which were used to disseminate the disinformation about the recent air attack upon Syria, are eerily silent about what is now going down.

In addition to the escalating psyops operation that is being directed at Lebanon and Syria, Israeli leaders have stepped-up their unending war of words being directed at Iran. PM Olmert used the celebration of “Holocaust Day” to announce to the world (in an off-hand manner) that Israel was ready to act against Iran on its own (forcing the US to honor Bush’s commitments to defend Israel, no matter what).

Iraq of '08 eerily like Vietnam of '68: The last time the United States lulled itself into thinking that a military surge was working was January 1968, just before the Tet lunar New Year ushered in the Year of the Monkey. Gen. William Westmoreland, commanding America's half million troops in Vietnam, assured President Johnson that 65 percent of the South Vietnamese population was living in secure areas, with "victory in sight."
